Can i have a small fire eel and a small rope fish in the same tank ?

probably not. rope fish have a pretty good sized mouth . an will eat anything they can get into it not to mention they tend to get out of their tanks if there isn't a real good lid on it.i mean no cracks or places to get out.they will eventually find a hole an get out.
