Who else is totally pi**ed at Microsoft for not offering DX10 for WindowsXP?

DX10 is an API and technology wise, I don't see any reason why they can't offer it for XP. Is this not just a way to force people to upgrade to Vista? I hope there is a lot of backlash about this.
