New planet found in the constellation Perseus that has a dying, red giant star for a sun?

I recently read an article about a new planet found in the constellation Perseus that has a dying, red giant star for a sun. The article talked about how the red giant was expanding as it dies, and will eventually consume the planet as it moves ever so closer in proximity. My question is related to this event. The article said our sun is a red dwaft and will expand and comsume earth within the next 5 billion years. It states that in 2 billion years earth's seas will be boiling water. So, is it logical to ume that global warming could also be influenced, or the result of, the sun's expansion towards earth? Dividing 2 billion years by 93 million miles (astronomical unit) gives an average yearly closure of 21 miles. Could be average temperature change per year on earth be positively correlated with a mere 21 miles expansion per year by our sun? Also, what would be the resulting calculation of temperature change per year if that 21 miles were the only factor in earth's temperature change, disregarding global warming?

Fully potty trained 3 year old having accidents again?

My 3 yr old had been completely potty trained for over 4 months, she only wore nappies to bed at night and didn't even wet through her daytime nap, but for the past week she has been having up to 5 or 6 accidents a day and today has done both poo and wee in her pants. I dint know what has happened or what to do to fix it....i have returned to asking her 10-15 mins of she needs to go to the toilet, which i had stopped having to do because she was doing it all by herself. Anyone else had a similar problem? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Would i be best to put her back in nappies and start all over again or keep persisting with knickers??

I had a dream that me and my 3 best friends, which I'm very close with, went on a vacation to these condos sort of and we would just walk around and stuff and we were jut hanging out. Then all of a sudden it like "blinked" to the inside of one of the condos and it was that guy from that show "It Takes A Thief" (the actual burglar) and about 5 other people. They were all dressed in a black shirt with black pants.. actually the exact uniform the waiters from Ruby Tuesdays wear. They held this container with test tubes containing a blue shiny liquid and I was holding one in my hand. They were really begging me for it and they were getting a little violent. Then one of my friends distracted them with some sort of texting thing and then we traded them my one blue tube for all the tubes in the container plus a very large sum of money. Then we left and all my friends were really excited but I wasn't. I was really scared. They all wanted to go to a restaurant to celebrate but I made us go back to our condo. Just as we were getting there we see one of the people dressed in black go into our condo. So we all go in (there's about 25 more people out of nowhere now) and we all hide as quickly as possible. I go into the bedroom and try to hide under the bed but there was already 2 people hiding under the bed so I tried to squish myself in and I wasn't really in but i just stayed there anyway. ADHD and video games, is there a problem?

My almost 9 year old has ADHD followed with ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) and PTSD (post tramatic stress disorder). He takes Adderall XR 25mg once a day. All he wants to do is play on the PS2 or computer or gameboy advance. This keeps him out of trouble, and he doesn't fight so much with the other kids (he is the oldest of 4). However i am worried that the games are hurting him, because he doesn't want to spend much time with the family. I don't allow shooting or fighting games, so I know he's not getting bad behavior from them. His schooling isn't suffering, he is actually pretty good at reading and he likes math. His unsocial behavior worries me for his future. I have tried limiting his time on the games, but when he isn't playing them, he is fighting with the other kids, or destroying things. What is your advice?

I seem to come across the worst of the worst when it comes to dentists. Some are nice but just don't do the work right. Some boast all kinds of degrees, but when you go to see them, someone else does the work? Some come out with a whopping bill of every kind of procedure they can hit you with, like $1,200 for a crown?...and they want to do several. One refused to treat me because I wouldn't approve all the work he wanted to do on me. One lady dentist ground down the wrong tooth, one dentist got mad when I told him the filling hurt, one told me I didn't have enough enamel on my teeth for lumineers (have you seen the fangs on some of the people they put Lumineers on?...way worse than my teeth). I am not rich, but I'm willing to pay for a job well done without making me feel like a moron.

I think it is great that your friend is standing up for something she believes in. The students and the school will be able to decide for themselves whether or not they want to purchase food from KFC at the end of this. She is just bringing her knowledge and her opinion to their attention and I find absolutely nothing wrong with that. At the end of the day KFC may still be in your school,but at least she knows she fought for what she thinks is right and maybe got a few people thinking a bit more about what food they put in their bodies. Sure, switching KFC for someplace like McDonald's isn't really going to help animals, the environment, or anyones health, but maybe she will be able to bring it to the schools attention that there are healthier options out there instead of fried chicken and you may get food from a more veggie-friendly establishment.

The rear taillight of my boyfriends truck was out and I got pulled over. Instead of being up front, I lied and said I didn't have my license on me but gave them information of one of my friends who had a license. I got charge with false information to a police officer. When I went to court the judge acted as if she was sending me to jail and scared me straight. I didn't go though, I had community service, probation and fines. OK I grew up on a farm. Chickens, pigs, and cows were all sources of food for us. That is what we raised them for. We had many family pets dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets etc. never once did anyone in my family harm a pet. I may not be popular for this but I think that there is a difference between livestock that is used for food and pets. The death of the livestock was very quick and the least cruel possible. I can't wrap my head around killing a dog with an ax or trying to kill a dog with a car.

Does anyone know of unusual engine trouble with 05' Honda Civics?

I have an 05' Honda Civic, bought it new, maintained normal upkeep schedule all taken to the Honda dealer, normal driving habits. All of a sudden my Honda would not restart for about 30 mins (did this twice). I took it to the dealership & they say I need a new engine and radiator. Then the maint guy goes on to say it looks like it happened b/c some additive was put in the radiator and he goes on to show me how parts of my radiator cap have fallen into the part. He couldnt explain what "additive" and how it got there. I have never taken my car anyone else except Walmart for an oil change over a year ago. Honda last saw my car in June and reported no problems, no check engine light came on, no smoking, or smells to indicate something was wrong. I have an extended warranty, but I am afraid that this was a lemon in the making & it will possible happen again. any suggestions

Basically, an ear piercing is a "boo boo" that never heals, thats why you can't take your earrings out for a while, so the piercing does not heal. Inflammation is just another side-effect. As for the cream, once again, it is an open wound in your body, it will sting when you apply medicine. Your body does not want a foreign object in it, so it will "rebel" so to speak against the ear piercings. There is no need to be alarmed, just wait it out. If it gets worse see a doctor but at the moment it's just a regular thing that most everyone has to deal with when getting your ears pierced. :)

We just had an unexpected hatching of parakeet babies over the last few days. Mom and babies seem fine at the moment. Any particular issues that need adressed to continue for them to thrive? Well they did fertilize them, they didn't lose interest and now the babies are here and I cannot change that. I would suggest Dexedrine or Concerta but drugs aren't absolutely necessary, they are just much easier. I take Dexedrine so I know firsthand that it does work but talk to your doctor cause I am twelve and female so It might not be the same for him. The other thing I think he might have is well Impulse Control Dissorder. It goes under lots of name so once again I suggest you talk to your doctor. Hope it's helpful.

So.. over the course of like, a year and a half I've been having pain that's kind of like a jabbing or stabbing feeling just less severe. Help with buying first car.?

My limit is around 5,000 and I want a good first car. I found a Volkswagen Jetta GLS for 5,000 but it has 125,000 miles on it. I also found a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta GLS for 2,900 with 136,000 miles on it. Sorry but leaving in Australia's cities is pricey. You are ooking for warm weather so I'll recommend Brisbane, Gold coast, its warm there all the time and there is lots to see. Then Perth is warm too but not so much to explore then if you can stand some cold during winter (obviously not as cold as UK), there is Geelong in Victoria, housing is not too pricey, its at the coast, has lots of shopping centres, good schools, university. I can call it a lovely modern country town and it is not far from Melbourne city, about 40 minutes drive, and there is a train to Melbourne city everyday and Melbourne has lots of stuff to do, so yes, if you dont mind a little cold during winter, then Geelong, Victoria is your town. And I must add, it is a lot livelier than Canberra. Ive always found Canberra quite dull. One thing is housing in the major cities is all on the high side, unless you want to live a fair distance from the CBD.

I have recently hit my target weight of 155lbs and aggressively changed my workout routine to break through my plateau. It has been working I continue to lean and bulk up. My current diet consists of about 1600-1800 calories a day 150-170 grams of protein less than 30 grams of fat, and less then 65 grams of carbs. I lift weights for an hour everyday and then do 45 mins of cardio after wards. I now take L Carnitine to help me burn the remaining excess fat. A few days ago my compressor was falling off my workbench in my garage, I went to save it and grabbed the handle with my left hand. Immediately after letting go I felt an extreme pain in my wrist. I can move my wrist back and forth fine but can not turn it AT ALL. I know I am not going to be able to lift weights for at least a week. I will continue to do cardio. Should I increase my calorie intake to maintain the muscle I have, or keep it the same? Also any idea what is wrong with my wrist?

When tuning guitar strings......?

I've heard that when replacing guitar strings and tuning it you have to turn the pegs a certain direction..like on an acoustic guitar where pegs are on both sides you have to turn the G,B and high E pegs clockwise when you tighten it and the low E,A and D counterclockwise when you tighten them because if you do the opposite it puts too much pressure on the bridge but does it really matter which way you turn the pegs when you tune strings? Also if it does, does turning the pegs in the wrong direction make your strings break faster?

Just from your description, my guess is that you probably do not need a root c done, and the correction of your problem would be simpler. My kitchen sink stopped working after I turned the valves a little. why?

The kitchen sink didn't seem like any warm water would come out of it so i tried to adjust the valves to see if the warm water is on. I turned them around back and forth several times (I was kind of learning as I go) and i gave up on trying to get the warm water to come on. But now, water just drizzles out slowly. I tried turning the valves in both directions and tested them, I'm sure the valves are open now(they are turned counter-clockwise) and a lot of water still doesnt come out. Like almost to the part where its just dripping.

I'm a recent dislocated worker. I "officially" lose my job in July. I currently have an ociates in electronics however in the course of my 9 years in the field I've learned that I don't want to move up to designing stuff. So I've kinda hit my plateau. I'm seriously considering going back to school to get a bachelor's in accounting which is something I've always liked (money, budgets, finance, etc...). What I'm curious about is how do cles work at a university. Are cles spread out over the whole day. When I went to a tech school I had 4 cles a day one right after the other, 8am-noon. I want to know because I'm going to have to move back with my parents to do this and have a 30min commute to the university. Cles spread out would suck. Also, how hard was it for you all to go back to school later in life (30's or higher)? Since I'm going to miss enrollment for this fall 2009, does this mean I have to wait until fall of 2010? I can't start in Jan of 2010? Any stories or motivation for me would be welcome. This is a huge decision and will determine a lot in my life.

Fat horse!!!!!!!!!!!?

I had a horse that wore one of the grazing muzzles since he wa sa bit on the chunky side, he was 1/2 haflinger pony so i know the stress of keeping her weight down. I would put the muzzle back on, BUT i would put vet wrap or something around the area that was rubbing her and see if that will help keep the rubs down. Other than that there isnt much that you can do to prevent the chubby pony syndrome lol. hope this helps

I got my tongue pierced (yes it was in a shop, where they have licenses) 2 days ago, and the guy pierced it so that the top ball is tilted toward the back of my tongue a little so it won't knock against my teeth and cause enamel erosion etc...
